Pottery with Fiona Swepson and Kim Chappell Monday at 10am, 1pm and 7pm & Tuesday at 10am, 1pm and 6.30pm Pottery classes are run by Fiona Swepson and Kim Chappell and are suitable for beginners and those with some experience, wishing to improve their skills. They are informative, interesting and fun.The cost is £13 per session - includes clay, firings and glazes. Each class lasts 2 hours.

Painting and Drawing Group, Thursdays 1pm - 3pm The painting and drawing group is a self led group for artists of all abilities and promotes peer to peer learning. Fibre Group: Thursday 27th July, 9.30am - 12.30pm A group for those interested in fibre arts such as felting, spinning and weaving. Traditional Upholstery taster weekend with Lee Deary: 8th & 9th July, 10am - 4pm This course is designed as an introduction, so that you can see if you enjoy upholstery. You will learn about tools and materials alongside tutoring in the basic techniques of traditional upholstery. Over the weekend you will learn how to upholster a drop in seat for a dining chair, or similar item of furniture (students need to bring their own). Life Drawing with Lynne Booker: Saturday 15th July, 10am - 12.30pm We have a variety of professional life models. Everyone is welcome from complete beginners to experienced artists and there is usually a good range of people so we learn from each other. People are free to work in whatever medium or style they like, experimentation encouraged and some help/advice/support is offered to anyone who would like it. Prices have been held at £45 per day and will include everything you’ll need except your lunch - order on the day from Unique cafe or bring your own.
