The Strawberry Glass Studio
Stained glass work is a fascinating and very traditional craft which also lends itself to contemporary design. The teaching is informative, relaxed and suitable for both beginners and improvers, with small groups to ensure you have individual support as needed. Materials and use of tools are included in the price and you will take away your completed piece of stained glass at the end of the workshop.
Workshop dates are available for both lead work, the traditional way to make stained glass windows, and copperfoiling, which was used in the Tiffany Studios to make the spectacular lampshades. If you're not sure which to go for contact Gillian for help with deciding.
For more information, alternative dates and booking ring Gillian on 07714458813 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
David and I also tutor stained glass workshops at the Heritage Skills Centre at Lincoln Castle, the Stained Glass Museum in Ely, the Craft Centre at Alford, Woolsthorpe Manor near Grantham, Sacrewell Farm at Peterborough and Lamport Hall in Northamptonshire. We enjoy working with community /heritage projects teaching the traditional skills so get in touch if you have an idea for our participation.
