Spend a day extending your stitching & quilting repertoire by exploring both traditional and contemporary quilting stitches to create texture and line in your work.

Going Off-Road with Creative Knitting and Crochet

Using knit and crochet together, create wonderfully textured pieces that can be turned into wearable art, wall hung pieces or accessories. Design Your Own Stained Glass – 10 March

Decopatch Project Day – 16 March

Decopatch is an amazing new paper craft which is becoming increasingly popular with artists and interior designers. This workshop offers an insight into the basic techniques of Decopatch and how it can be used.
Three projects will be undertaken through the day and there will be a range of items to choose from including hearts, pencil pots, coat hangers, bowls, canvases and papier mache animals. Have a fun and relaxing day whilst learning the art of something new, colourful and useful.

Screen Printing with Leicester Print Workshop

Friday 23 March 10am to 4pm – £60
This course introduces the principles of silkscreen printing. Working with screens that have been pre-exposed at Leicester Print Workshop you will learn how to print your design as well as exploring layering and colour. You will be working on pre-exposed screens that are appropriate to A4 imagery. Therefore it is necessary to send one A4 image or two A5 images to Leicester Print Workshop to arrive by Sunday 11th March at the very latest.
Your images should be high contrast and black and white. The image could be a drawing or a photograph – the important thing is that it has strong black and white areas and minimum greys so that it will print well. Please email your image to admin@leicesterprintworkshop.com. Please note when sending images by email that JPEGS should be no bigger than 2 MB each.

Stunning Ceramics for your Garden

Willow Animals! Random sculpture weave the next step

Saturday 19 May – Open day between 10am to 4pm
A fantastic day of craft and countryside activities. Following two hugely successful events we are holding another creative open day down on the farm! There’ll be sheep shearing and alpacas to see, craft taster sessions on offer in knitting, pottery, stained glass, felting and weaving. There will be demonstrations in spinning and using natural dyes. Refreshments will be available and craft items will be on sale.
